Today was the first day in school for hundreds of thousands of students in public schools across Montgomery County. MCPS Schools are open regularly at 100% capacity, however schools have had to be very innovative in order to protect students and staff from the coronavirus. MCPS has reported a couple outbreaks in schools over the last month or so, notably at Quince Orchard High School.

The Garrett Park Pool remains open until Labor Day this year. If you need to get one last swim in before the end of the season, you still have the time. The pool is operating under different hours though, so see their latest emails or check their website for more information.
