 In Pictures: Woodward Building is No More Wilson Faucette - North Bethesda, MD - 5.21.2021 - 10:44 Overview The Woodward building appears to be fully demolished. In the pictures below, you will be able to see different angles of the building from different days. There are portable offices set up. See our archived article about the Woodward Project for more information, or check on the MCPS Capital Improvements Page . The Woodward building is located on Old Georgetown Road in between Edson Lane and Tuckerman Lane. It was home to Tilden Middle School for many years, after having been Woodward High School. Students who attended GPES attended Woodward for a rather brief period of time.   Traffic Alert: BTT & I-495/Maplewood Park Drive Wilson Faucette - Maplewood-Alta Vista, MD - 5.16.2021 - 12:00 Photo: Wilson Faucette Traffic Alert: Location: Bethesda Trolley Trail, after the I-495 bridge, before the intersection at Maplewood Park Drive, before the French International School. Photo: Google  My Maps Alert: A down power line has closed the whole trail. Some people have been going through the Fire department caution tape line, and some have gone around. The Pike District Connector Trail is going to be a 1 mile, mixed use trail that goes from the Bethesda Trolley Trail on Edson lane, to the Montrose Parkway Trail. According to Montgomery Planning , this is a temporary path for this summer. It is also meant to help advance the county's vision zero policies. Vision zero's goal is to prevent fatal traffic incidents. The trails seems that it will most likely use the existing bike lanes and the ones that are being installed on Executive Boulevard and Woodglen Dr. The Better Block Foundation  is working with the county to advance the Pike District by adding art and street furniture to the four hubs.
