No More Reservations

The Garrett Park Pool sent out an email to subscribers on Friday Afternoon. In their email, they ask to make sure that members have paid their dues. They also give some news that radically changes how the pool will operate this summer. There will no longer be reservations, because they currently have a 75% capacity limit, and the county is set to remove all restrictions in a week or so. They say that that applies to both the family and lap pool. They also say that due to the lifting of capacity restriction, that guests will most likely be allowed.

Masking

Some of the Garrett Park Pool staff are not fully vaccinated yet, and therefore masks will be required at check-in. However, the pool cites that masks are no longer required outside.

Swim Team

MCSL is currently working on updating their season guidance based on county restrictions. Information regarding their decisions has been leaked on social media platforms, but not on the MCSL website. NoBe Glow will let you know when information is released.

Where did this come from?

All of these fast changing guidelines, and removing of restrictions comes after the CDC announced that vaccinated people no longer have to wear masks, and many states, including Maryland have proceeded to open up for mostly regular business.

What do you think about these fast changing guidelines? Will you feel comfortable at the pool this summer? Let us know in the comments below.
