Thunder Closes GP Pool

The Garrett Park Swimming Pool closed today(6/10/2021) at around 4:15 PM after thunder had been heard.  At the time, Swim Team Practice was occuring in the lap pool, while all other pool features were open regularly.

Forecast

According to the National Weather Service(NWS), it might rain and thunderstorm this evening and heavy rain is highly likely tomorrow.

The pool rescheduled their food truck, 7 Star Wings, from tonight to Saturday night. They had to cancel last week's as well.
