Thunderstorms Likely, Flash Flood Watch

According to the National Weather Service, severe thunderstorms are likely in the mid-atlantic region today. For North Bethesda, there are scattered showers and severe thunderstorms in the forecast.

There is a flash flood watch in effect for Montgomery County from 3:00 PM this afternoon until 10:00 PM. Across the area, the average rainfall is expected to be .5 inches, but up to 2-4 in some areas. NoBe Glow will update this article later with the current information.

It borders the Academy of Holy Cross. On the Strathmore website , they have announced that they are bringing back live music with a new open air venue. They say that the pavilion will be on the center's Trawick Terrace. The Trawick Terrace is located at the bottom of the concrete steps, looking out onto the property of Holy Cross.
