COVID Cases Are Very Low

Montgomery County, MD's COVID-19 Cases and other indicators are very low, and this comes as Montgomery County recently rescinded all of their COVID guidelines, leaving only recommendations and any state or federal guidelines for MoCo residents to follow. Let's take a look at some of the indicators that Montgomery County uses.

For May 28, the 7 day average of new cases per 100,000 people is around 2. That's compared to around 50 in January. Since March 2020, the number hadn't dipped below 3 until this month. We are at the lowest number now since late March of 2020. This indicator is "Very Low," according to Montgomery County.
