Three Spots, Three Nominees

The Garrett Park Town Council has 3 seats. Only 3 people signed up to run in this election. Therefore, no election was necessary, according to the Garrett Park Website. The three candidates are today considered elected. Nominations were due in late April. The three candidates will be sworn into office during the next town council meeting. The town council meeting occurs from 7:30 - 9:00 PM on Monday, May 10. You can view the town council meeting on the town's youtube channel.

Who was "elected"

The 3 nominees/councilmembers are Danuta (Dona) Dobosz, Stephen Paczkowski, and Phil Schulp. Congratulations to all of the councilmembers.

The new rankings for next year have Garrett Park ranked first in Division J. This will have been Garrett Park's 3rd season competing in Division J. However, a difference between this year and past years is that Garrett Park is ranked first. This comes after the team got 6th in Division J last year, and 4th this year. It borders the Academy of Holy Cross. On the Strathmore website , they have announced that they are bringing back live music with a new open air venue. They say that the pavilion will be on the center's Trawick Terrace. The Trawick Terrace is located at the bottom of the concrete steps, looking out onto the property of Holy Cross.
